Weak agitation

I just purchased this washer. The agitation is a LOT weaker than my previous GE washer. I can best describe it a puney. Is this normal? My old washer would swish the clothes around in there like crazy, and fast. This one is slow and wimpy. Also, The auto censor way overfills compared to the amount of clothing I have in there. Can someone please address these things? Thanks.

we noticed that it won't fill up all the way with a full load of clothes to wash

WONDERFUL WASHER

This GE washer has a large capacity and the drum is stainless steel. The cover does not lock so I can add anything that I forgot to put into it as it fills with water. Clothes come out super clean and almost dry thanks to the extended spin cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice machine

This is the closest you will get to an old school, non HE machine. I like it but I find that when I finish my wash and leave the machine alone for a few days, when I open the lid, for some reason, there is about 3 inches of water inside. Can't figure that out. Overall, it's an okay machine. I do love GE products.
