Not especially happy with the GE washer. Have had it for about a month. Very noisy. Seems to wash ok. Like it better than my old front load washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good size tub

Very adequate size in tub. The only drawback is the long time it takes for each cycle to complete. Is there any way to reset time? Thanks

Energy efficient vs Non Energy Efficient

I was not looking for a high efficiency washer. This model has the option, if I do choose to use it, but I can set the water level. I like lots of water and enough suds to see it "slushing" around. My water bill is not an issue. I also feel that the high efficiency ones run longer, at least an hour. I do have an electric bill issue. Clean clothes, faster washing cycle and great spin cycle that leave your clothes damp and not heavy like I find the high efficiency ones; my Mother has a high efficiency

No what I expected, thought the GE name meant quality. The washer sounds like it Is coming apart when going though the cycles. Very disappointed.

This washer has been a pleasure to use. The larger capacity means not having to do laundry everyday. The hand wash feature did a wonderful job on my clothes.
