I bough a few months ago and still satisfied. Much better than front loader I had and less than half the cost.

WORSE WASHER EVER

NEED TO WASH AND RINSE TWICE . NOT VERY ENERGY EFFICENT. WASHED TOWELS AND STILL HAD SOAP IN THEM WHEN DONE. WE DID SHEETS THAT WERE STILL DRY IN THE MIDDLE WHEN DONE. IT COST MORE TO DO LAUNDRY NOW. "NOT HAPPY"

unhappy with amount of water

When I set it for the two largest settings I don't feel it fills up with very much water. Comparing it to a small or medium load, the water level isn't much different. Only about half of the tub is filled with water. I also have trouble if I put clothes in and then decide I need to change to a bigger load - - it doesn't seem to reset the fill level. I very much like that it runs very quietly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not too happy

I wish it were easier to change cycles once you've already started the machine. It seems to have a mind of it's own sometimes. Can't seem to figure out the soaking cycle. I like to soak my whites overnight and the machine will just drain if it sits overnight.

Six months later and loving it!

My GTWN4250DWS washer was reasonably priced, yet offers a wide variety of settings. Seperate settings for hand wash, jeans, towels, colors,whites, etc. wash and rinse perfectly. Towels are spun nice and tight, yet hand wash is as gentle as hand washing yourself. I trust this machine to wash perfectly based on the setting selected. It is better than any I've ever had for hand washing. Unlike others, you CAN open the cover during operation but don't do it often, because it wears on your motor. All the things I hated in the other new machines, are corrected in this GE. Considering the price, it exceeded
my expectations.

my GE washer has better features.

I bought my washer about a month ago I believe and so far it has worked well, the new features such as water saving and fabric softener dispenser are great, it is very quiet when washing that sometimes I have to go and touch the machine to make sure that it is working. Overall I'm very happy with my new washer and hopefully I will get a GE dryer as well later on.
I would recommend this to a friend!
