This was a "direct replacement". Substantially quieter, much more water and electrical efficient!

Am unhappy with this washer - noisy during spin cycle, clothes come out tangled/twisted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The washer does such a great job spinning out the clothes, that it doesn't take long for the clothes to dry. The only thing I wish the washer had was an end of cycle buzzer.
