I bought this washer a few months ago, and even though it was a little confusing at first as to how to begin the washing process, I finally figured out the best procedure for me.

purchased two weeks go and all in all very happy with performance. Seems well made, Last GE washer lasted 15 years.

Washer hits the spin cycle

When the washer is running it is very quiet but when it hits the spin cycle it is very loud. A tech came to my house to inspect the washer and said that it is normal because it hits 800 RPM and that the drum hangs from struts. Ok I understand that but why do I have to hear the noise and vibration that this washer machine makes on the spin cycle. I dont know if I can stand it much longer. I would have to run it when I am not home! I want a replacement!

LOW water levels

I had only had this machine less than 12 hours. trying to figure out a way to get the water level increased to my liking!!! Searching endlessly online for suggestions/details.

Nice looking machine

Have used GE machines for 57 years with excellent results until this new unit. It is advertised as an energy saving device but it doesn't bring in enough water to clean a large load in the huge tub so have to do multiple smaller loads and no warm rinse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large tub

I had a front loader washer and the motor had died after 4 years. I have just purchased this GE top loader washer and I already am very pleased with my purchase. The size of the tub is wonderful, and I like that this washer has a soak feature. My other one did not. I am even able to put a large comforter in that I previously had to to go to the laundry mat for. This is a great washer.

I brought this washer a month ago.It,s different then my may tag.It seems to not fill all the way up for a full load.It is very quite.
