Washer was much larger than my old one.

This washer is so much larger than my old one. It looks like a bathtub next to my old one. But the cabinet is much smaller. It is at least 4 to 6 inches slimmer than the old one. Seems to wash all right but I did not catch it was a HE washer and does not use as much water as some others. I will recommend it so far but I prefer the older ones with more water. We will see.

I've had this washer for several weeks now and just love it. Living in the west where water is such a precious resource, the water saving features are very important. It has taken some getting used to, as the washer uses so little water. I have used the auto fill setting and have had not problems with the way the loads come out, very clean and exceptional dry which saves drying time. Many posts complain that it isn't enough water and the clothes don't get clean, this IS NOT what I've experienced! The clothes come out great and the water saved is so very important. Hey, maybe the farmers can grow more food with the water saved. I'd also like to note that our water tends to be a little hard but I still get great results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

worst washer I have ever owned

I purchased this washer 1-11-2015. The salesman recommended it because he had one and said they loved it. I bypassed the "off when lid is open feature" to observe how it washed. My old washer did not have the lid closed to run feature so I was able to observe it in operation for 20 years. The clothes in my old washer constantly moved to where every piece of clothing rotated constantly under the water. In this washer, the clothes that start out on top stay on top and rarely ever go beneath the water. So for example, a pair of jeans get wet but don't go anywhere, they just ride on top of the water. Also, I do not like the water levels. Even at the highest setting the level is so low no wonder the clothes just sit on top and don't get clean. I thought I wanted less agitation, but the gentle agitation of this washer just doesn't get it done. This is the worst purchase I have ever made and every time I wash my clothes I want to take it back and get a washer that really washes my clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have owned more expensive washers that had all the bells and whistles. Kept breaking down. Was told to get plain, basic Washer.
We still wanted an Energy Efficient Model.
This was it, so far so good.
