Love the basic beauty of this machine!

We need a machine that can really clean very dirty clothes as my husband works in a restaurant. The new features without an aggitator just won't work for us. This machine has performed beautifully. It's quiet and our clothes are extremely clean!

does not clean clothes as I expected from a GE washer...and no matter how much softener I use our clothing has a really bad odor...so I'm wasting detergent and fabric softener...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Top washer with old school agitator

This model is as close to the washer that I had. I do not like the newer models with no agitator or front load washers. This washer is not as easy to add softener as my old washer.

Very quiet wash, I love it!

I just got my washer and I love it. It is very quiet and has alot of features. The only thing it sounds like a rocket taking off when it spins the clothes, I do not know if I should run or take cover..smile. But I love it, it is a great buy so far. I will check back in 6 months and see if anything has changed.

Sounds like a jet turbine engine when spinning

I bought this yesterday and it is incredibly noisy. It sounds like a metallic buzz saw when agitating and when spinning, even the GE operator who I called said it sounds like a jet turbine engine. It is so loud you have to yell when in the room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
