Seems to work as Advertized

Works fine.. Directions on the timing of the different settings would have been nice. Such as Quick Wash = Minutes, Soak =Minutes so we could do something else rather the wait for the load to get done. Not as noisy as the GTE Profile that we had to replace after seven years (Large Control Pad) buttons started to fail, and It would have cost more to replace the pad and have installed, then buy this New Featured GE Washer...

Still with GE after 23 years

Our last GE washer/drier we bought in 1991. We thought we should replace them after 23 years to avoid dealing with failures bound to come. After 23 years, why not stay with GE. The washer is a variable speed motor so no transmission. I've noticed other improvements over what we had. it's quiet and efficient. It automatically fills the tub based on the weight of clothes put in, has all the controls we need, and looks great in our laundry. Even if it doesn't last another 23 years, we'll be long gone before then. Sure, we could have paid twice as much for a front loader; but, why. They both will get the clothes clean.

Great Washer

After extensive research I purchased this product. I enjoy the features of this machine. I'm just old school and wanted a machine with and agitator. This new wave agitator is great. Quite and gentle on your clothing.

GOOD WASHER

Took a while to figure out how to use. Instruction booklet NOT helpful. Still don't know everything One feature I do not like is the costant beeping while starting a wash. Wish I could turn it off!

Great Washer

I have been using this for a little over a month and I have no complaints. I have not had a washer in my house for over 3 years so it is a tremendous relief to not have to go to the laundromat. It is a good looking machine and I love the auto fill setting for the water. I do not have to fuss over changing that setting and it is a water and time saver. But do make sure you run it empty 2x to get it calibrated correctly so that auto setting functions correctly.
