Quiet, and loving the options

My last washer was an Amana, 2nd buyer. The difference is phenomenal! The options will spoil you and the water levels work great for my family.

We have had to have the machine serviced because a clothing item got stuck in the pump and the water would not drain. (twice) The service provided stated this is not uncommon with this unit. I have never heard of this before and have owned multiple washing machines. Another example of "you get what you pay for".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine features

Just bought a few days ago & I just love this washer. The features are awesome. I wanted a machine that could hold & handle super large loads ( comforters & blankets , ect.). This machine can it has a very large basket for doing such items. Also it has self adjusting legs so no needing to lift & turn them to adjust to become level. Hope to have this washer around for a long time.

Poor performance

I bought this washer a week ago. After several loads of laundry that did not get clean I called GE customer service. Following their recommendation I have turned off the water sensor, added a second rinse, and reduced the load size. It has improved things a little but dirty clothes do not get clean and stains are not removed. I have a repairman coming today to make sure my washer is functioning properly, but currently I am very disappointed in this washers cleaning abilities. If we find that this washer is functioning properly I will be returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
