This washer is very efficient in that it will determine on it's own what level of water is needed for each load for you! Also, it is scary quiet while going through it's cycle! :)

The best washer out there!

I really have to commend GE. They have managed to design and build a washing machine that is a perfect hybrid of old-school usability and modern efficiency. I am amazed at how quiet it is (wash cycle sounds like someone splashing bathwater around and the spin cycle is a moderate whirring sound). GE did a great thing when they came up with the technology to make a washer that lets you choose between the load-sensing way to wash or manually select to run it like a traditional washer. All the cycles and options are more than enough to suit any household's individual demands. This is my first time owning a GE washer and I now wish that my family had been purchasing GE all these years. After a week of really working this washer, I can tell that GE takes pride in building a good product and really cares about their customers.
I would recommend this to a friend!
