This washer is not as good as the old style. It does not fill the water to the desired level, nor is the agitation sufficient (with the new design) to properly clean clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does everything i wanted from a washer. Great cleaning and spins the water out of the cloths. Dryer does not have to run as long.
