I bought this about a year after my new Kenmore. It was very noisy, very slow and took a long time to wash. Our new GE has been flawless and none of the above issues exist.

Who needs a fancy front loader?

I have owned a front loader and couldn't wait to go back to a basic washer. I am very pleased with this model and have had no issues with it. Very reliable and easy to use.

Had to have 3 service calls starting with the day of delivery. Poor quality machine. Poor performance, a lack of sufficient water dispense . Inability to restart cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best washer ever! I had several washers over the last 5 years and I have never had one that comes close to my new GE. I can put my heaviest quilt in and I can't believe how clean it comes out and how quiet the washer is. It is amazing!
