Have had a GE washer for many many years. Lightning took out my old one and I decided to stick with GE as it has served us well.

Bought in February of 2014. Was repaired 9 times. Yep, two motors, and one of those had to be switched back the very same day because IT would not engage on spin cycle. ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS BRAND! NEVER WILL I OWN ANOTHER GE ANYTHING! E.V.E.R!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too many features and weird noises

I am a senior citizen and have owned a number of washers in the past. This one is the most disappointing. No matter how little you load or if you set it on delicate, clothes come out terribly wrinkled and twisted. It's just too rough all over and too large a "basket."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted a washer with an agitator, but did not expect to find one. I was wrong. This washer not only has one but the tub is enormous and it is energy efficient as well. It has a water saving button and will fill the tub with the required amount of water when you choose this option.
I would recommend this to a friend!
