Wow! Well-priced beauty...

This GE washer is easing me into this century of appliances. Its controls are still recognizable, though it has abundant features - 2nd rinse, power rinse, auto-soak. It's spin cycle is amazingly efficient! Quiet, quick - great machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes getting use to

at first I did not like this machine, because I didn't understand what a HE machine is. This is not a true HE machine because you can manually select water levels, but in all other aspects it is an HE machine. it is not a loud machine but it does make different noises than what I was use to. read your manual do some online research and give the machine a chance. I was going to return mine after the first few loads, but I found that I had a 30 day return policy. I used it to get all the laundry done after doing laundry for the past two weeks I have grown to really like this machine. read your manual and be prepared for a learning curve but after you learn what the machine can do I think you will like it as much as I do. a few pointers, you can not change your wash selection once you have started the machine if you do it will drain and start over. you can change the water level, the water temp, and the options, but NOT THE WASH CYCLE. do not use the automatic water level for very small loads, loads with mixed fabric types, or large bulky items, it just didn't seem to work right for me. I could not put this as my reason for buying below but I chose this machine over another for price and made in the USA

We didn't need all of the fancy features, so this dryer is perfect for us. We replaced 12 year old machines, and always a fan of GE.
