Almost don't need to use dryer! Hang to dry jeans dry the next morning!

Great machine

We brought this machine about 5 months ago and has been used on a regular basis. Different sounding machine, but quiet in comparison to past ones we have had. Spins the daylights out of the wash! Drying time has decreased a lot.

After using my washer just about 6 weeks, I had to call for repair. I've used washers and dryers for over 55 years so I know how to operate them. When washing 2 2x3 foot bathroom scatter rugs on normal setting, the washer made a very loud grinding noise and would not complete end the 2nd rinse cycle. I called and a day or two later, the repair man said I needed a new water pump. I was astounded. It appears that my two new rugs released so much fuzz that it clogged the filter in the water pump which stopped the rinsing cycle. The rugs had sown down fibers and that too many of the fibers came lose. I would have never guessed that the rugs would have done that. It had appeared that the rugs seemed to be backed with very tight stitches ??? Both rugs were certainly small enough to run at the same time. They appeared to be very well made rugs - they were not cheap ones. The repair man told us that it probably happened because when the 2nd rinse cycle is complete, the load goes through a very intense rinse/disperse all excess water cycle, that it will pull so hard that any and all loose fabrics will break away. He had to put a new water pump in. Guess I will not plan to wash this type of throw rug again.

We love this washer. It has simple, great features. We previously had a high-tech, computerized expensive washer and it broke down a lot. We love this machine.

the washer is nice looking BUT the stainless steel tub marks up with residue marks that should not be. It sounds loud at times. The matching dryer is horribly loud
