WE BOUGHT THIS WASHER A COUPLE MONTHS AGO, AND WE LOVE IT. IT HAD ALL THE FEATURES THAT WE DESIRED, AND IT IS SO SO QUIET!! THANKS TO THE SPEED OF THE SPIN CYCLE, IT TAKES HARDLY ANY TIME TO DRY THE CLOTHES!!

The worst washing machine I have ever had!

The first new one went back with in 3 weeks.
The 2nd new one was little to no better than the first one.
It spins much too long and much too hard and is destroying my clothes even when I stop the machine a short way through the spin.
Every load after washing will have an item or 2 with "picks" to be repaired.
Other reasons also I dislike this washer.
I truly wish I had not bought this GE washing machine.

Manual controls in lieu of electronic controls

So far the washer is meeting our expectations. The ability to manually control the fill level is a plus. Another plus is that it is made in America! Tub size is more than adequate although keeping heavier items balanced is problematic. The absence of electronic controls was a major factor in deciding on this GE model. Dryer door is hard to close.

well at first it worked really well and almost to quiet but now it got out of balance and chip the bucket inside two of them but oveall i liked them
