[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer June 2012. Have been using it for 8 months and absolutely love it. It has great capacity, does the job well and in reasonable amount of time. My only recommendation is to set up the washer with the 2nd rinse and extended spin as default, because the clothes will be cleaner. Due to the hydrowave, it uses less water. I love the stainless steel tub, appearance and price. We had bougth another brand, tried it and returned 1 week later becuse the washing cycle took 1.5 hours, they said it was due to saving water but we are way too busy, we do a lot of laundry (we live on a farm in Iowa). I will be buying the matching drier, once my existing one quits.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second washing machine of this model that I have purchased with in the year. The first one I purchased was for my mom & brother & they love it Great features & works well. Hard to get used to the low volume of water the machines uses .Still trying to learn the amount of soap to use as the Tide Pods don't seem to be enough soap. All in all this is a very good machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household consist of my husband, 21 year old son, 20 year old daughter, 18 year old daughter, and myself...basically 5 adults. We are all active in outdoor activities so, our laundry gets dirty. This washer has a very large stainless steel tub, which; is large enough and durable enough to wash Carhart bibs and other hunting apparel, towels, bed linens, and jeans. It also has settings that are gentle enough to wash anything from our delicates and dress clothes to our everyday clothes. I would recommend this washer to anyone, especially families!

Pros and cons to this machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like that each time you lift the lid the washer stops. What is the purpose. I like to check soap levels but it is impossible with this machine. It will NOT let you choose water level. Don't think it cleans as well as old GE. But it looks nice, is quiet and has a really big tub. Like that the tub is stainless steel.

worse washer ever

For family laundry needs, this is not the washer to buy, it does not clean your clothers., You cannot change the water cycle once the cycle starts to wash or it lets the water out and start over. Waste of water, washing powder and time. I have had to wash each load twice. GW will not replace because it works as designed. small loads wash fine, any other size does not come clean.

This is an excellent value

This product is amazingly quiet so much so that with just a little background noise it cannot be heard. It is amazingly simple to operate without even looking at the user's manual. There are ample different settings for every type of fabric. The drum is quite deep making for a large capacity. If you're looking for a good, simple, inexpensive washing machine this one fits.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls are a simple to use no fancy buttons to deal with. The simple controls should should last longer than the buttons on the other machines we looked at.

Don't like not being able to restart water at new level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this washer yesterday. It's my fourth washer in my lifetime. I wasted two loads of soap & water trying to reset the machine for a larger load, when I decided to add more clothing. Thought it was me and I that I didn't understand the control panel. I didn't have it set on Auto Sensor for water depth, so I didn't understand why it would drain and re-fill just changing from a large to and extra large load, but I guess that's the way this machine works. I actually didn't realize this machine had a digital display when I bought it or I wouldn't have. Electronic displays = just more things to go wrong, in my experience. This is a very silly feature to have on any washer and will take some getting used to, for sure. Other than those issues it seemed to clean nice, but I've only done five loads now.
