[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE HAD AN INITIAL ISSUE WITH THE BARREL BANGING - THIS WAS RESOLVED WITHIN THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF OWNERSHIP - REPAIRS WERE MADE PROMPTLY AND TESTED BEFORE THE SERVICE STAFF LEFT OUR HOME. HAVE HAD ABOUT ONE YEAR WITH NO ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS OR SERVICE REQUIRED. WE LOVE THE MACHINE AND THE STAINLESS STEAL BARREL. EASY TO CLEAN.

A good quality, quiet efficient machine & a great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is a good quality, quiet, efficient machine and a great value. Enough cycles to get the job done without being overdone or complicated. Capacity is great. Priced very reasonably. Let face it you don't need a washer that looks like a red race car with all the bells & whistles (for show) to get your clothes clean. So far I am very pleased with this washers preformance. Thanks GE
P.S. When I am in the market for a new dryer I will probably go with the matching GE unit.

This product has good features and can handle very large loads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only one issue is that we had to call in someone to look at the machine because there was water that was on the floor one time when doing a load of wash. They never found out what caused this and has been running fine since that time.

Good Washer without all the complicated settings

Bought this washer and matching dryer in Sept. Had it installed and working in less than 30 minutes. Has worked great and really cleans my clothes. I love how it does not have all the settings that the more expensive washers do. I wanted a washer that was basic, simple to use, and cleaned my clothes. Found it. Only one issue so far. Loud banging and rocking but was able to be fixed with ease. At first I was worried about the low water levels but I am really impressed with how well it cleans my clothes. It is generally quiet and does not bother me while sleeping (the laundry room is connected to the bedroom in my very small apartment). Overall I love the washer and dryer. I feel like it is great quality for the price and well worth it for a couple of college students. Would choose the same model again.

Quiet and efficient

Very quiet except in spin cycle,it washes well. I was surprised at how deep it was, much larger capacity than my previous GE. When I began shopping for a new washer I didn't think I needed 16 cycles, but I can see that I will use many of them , operations are easy to understand, just read the manual over once. I also like the enery rating, very low power usage and when you use the 2 spin cycle the clothes need less dryer time, and you save electricity then too.

I really love the water conservation of the washer. Very quiet operation. This is a good value and is highly reccomended. Man Friendly.
