Absolutely Terrible - Will Never Purchase GE Again

This is the worst washer I've ever owned. Extremely loud, spin cycle went out on the 'speed wash' cycle after three years then it went out on the 'Whites' cycle, then was on slow spin for every cycle. It worked right for three years. Useless!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice washer but slow.

This washer is fine except that it would be nice to have an alarm on it when the cycle finally stops. The washing cycles are way too long. I don't see how it can be efficient in saving energy if it takes double the time to wash.

Nothing I don't like about this machine!

After returning another washer that we hated, we bought this GE washer. There is nothing I don't like about it. Thank you GE for still making a washer that has an agitator, gets the clothes sparkling clean, uses eough water to cover the clothes, is easy to use, and extremely quiet. I also love the matching dryer and wrinkle setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Washer for the Money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this machine for six months and wash on average two large loads a week. It has worked wonderfully! It cleans much better than front loading machines while using the same amount of water. The capacity is great, and I really appreciate the stainless steel drum. The temperature control is dead on, and the auto-load sensor has worked like it should. The machine is very quiet while washing, though it is a bit louder when washing heavy loads such as comforters, several towels, etc. That's just due to the agitator having to move a heavier load. This machine was a great bargain as I cannot replace it now for what I paid for it. I would highly recommend this machine!

Great Job Washing

The tub doesn't fill very high with water when doing large and extra large loads. Could be the way this machine operates that it doesn't need as much as our old old one did, Otherwise a great unit
