This washer has all the features I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the big 3.9 tank. Also, easy to read knobs. This clothes washer has all the settings I will ever need. My husband works in the OKlahoma oilfield, and we need a larger tank to fit his work clothes. The coveralls fit nicely in the tank and the wash cycle for heavy duty works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

TRADITIONAL BUT GREAT PERFORMANCE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model was purchased after trying and returning one of the more modern looking energy efficient models from a worthy competitor. My wife hated it and had similar reactions from other users she contacted.
The retailer allowed us to change to this GE unit and she is satisfied with all aspects of it's performance

Good for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 15 year old washer with this GE model after much research. I didn't want the front loading, high efficiency model but did want a quiet model that could get clothes clean. We've had this machine since November and are happy with it. The clothes get clean, it's easy to use, and the price was right. The capacity is big; there's plenty of room to wash sheets, towels, and comforter (although separately :) Love the stainless steel. It could be a little more quiet but we have it in the 2nd bath/laundry room, so it really doesn't matter. Good quality for the price. If you want the basics at a good price, this is your model.

Great features but not like my old washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water conservation part is what I don't like about this washer. It hardly fills to enough water to wash the clothes when you have large loads. I have a hose and I add more water. I don't understand how the clothes can be rinsed well with such little water. Beside the above, it is a quiet washer and has a large tub that I like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this machine because wife wanted one were you could control the water level, which you can or set it for automatic. The problem with the high priced HE machines are they do not have the option to override the automatic settings. kept seeing reviews that say you cannot set water level and it does not fill the tub. also saw reviews which said clothes would get stuck under the agitator. after 6 months this has not happened. and it does fill with water adequately to clean the clothes. so i think for the money this machine does not have all the bells and whistles but it does clean the clothes, has excellent spin cycle, clothes come out almost dry, but it does the job. only con is the cycles are longer than our old whirlpool which died after about 15 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad I didn't base my purchase on the negative reviews of this product. Having had GE appliances for a number of years, I chose to got with my gut feeling and have not regretted it.
I, personnaly, do like the automatic fill but choose to just select the range I prefer and get the job done. Why would you need to use a hose to fill?
Purchased this item early November, 2012 and have not had any problems whatsoever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer to replace our 14 year old model. We are very happy with how quiet this model is, the clothes are clean,and the spin cycle is very good at geting most of the water out.The tub size is a great plus also.
