[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer as a replacement and I love it! I love the PreciseFill technology, and the quiet agitation is great! The first time I used it, I could barely tell it was running. Also, the spin cycle is very quiet, but works very well, decreasing drying time. I've even washed my comforter and sheets with no problem.

Excellent Washer and Dryer

Great washer so long as you use the power rinse option

This is the only washer that will let you get your clothes clean and rinsed like the good old fashioned kind PLUS give you the HE fast spin to reduce dryer time and save electricity.
For the vast majority of people, sewer & water charges combined are less than one cent per gallon so 10 cents or so per load water savings are not worth having clothes that are, dirty, torn, and full of detergent residue like non agitator washers. I gave up a "no agitator" HE washer to get this one.
For best results, use the "super" water level setting, don't add clothes and detergent until after the washer fills, and use the "power rinse:" option whether or not you use fabric softener. This gives you a conventional deep rinse. The default "rain rinse" leaves too much detergent residue in the clothes.
GE service is excellent. I bought the washer October 2012 and did have a problem with a broken bolt that made the washer "knock" during the spin cycle in March 2013. GE sent someone out to fix it under warranty just two days. The repairman said this was a known issue and has been fixed for all similar washers manufactured in 2013.

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose a top loader for my washer because they don't have the smell problem that front loaders do. This machine is easy to use- once you adjust your settings the first time, just push start for each load. The machine has a setting that allows it to decide for itself how much water to put in. This washing machine works well and is very quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just keep it on the automatic water level and it always does a great job. From jeans, towels and sheets to stockings and sweaters, everything has been satisfactory. All you hear when it's running is the swish of the water.
