Have only owned for a few weeks, but this washer is wonderful! Extremely quiet, except for a "jet sound" while spinning dry--but nothing irritable. Washes clothes very well, and dry time is much less due to the spin cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just ran my first load it is so much quieter than my last washer and has a lot of energy saving features, So far so good!

Trying GE Again !

Had a beautiful set of GE Profile Washer & Dryer. Washer died after less than 5 years so I needed a new one. Purchased this one as it was closest to the profile model . So far so good, a whole 3 weeks. Water levels are a pain as you never really know which setting to put it at. Clothes come out clean, machine quiet, uses less detergent. Ask me in a few months !

Great washer

Just purchased this washer, with the matching dryer. So far it's been great, very quiet machine. I have noticed that even with the water level put to XL, machine doesn't fill all the way, but clothes seem to be clean.

BOUGHT A NEW GE IN SEPTEMBER OF 2012. STILL LOOKED BRAND NEW. HAD THREE REPAIRMEN WITH THE SAME COMMENT ABOUT THE GE WASHER "POORLY MADE" "NOT LIKE THEY USE TO BE" HAD ANOTHER NEW WASHER DELIVERED TO ME TODAY. NOT ANOTHER GE FOR SURE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Saves alot of time

Bought this when my old one died. It's amazing the size of the load I can do. It takes longer for the wash cycle, but it cuts my load numbers in half.
