Although this washer id a bit noisier than I would like, it is performing well so far. We'll see how it holds up in the long run.

Top load with agitator easy to load clothing, soap

We had a front load for six years. Constant trouble with the soap, softner, and bleach dispenser. The cleaners for the machine did not help. Top load is old style but works great

I am so pleased with my new GE washing machine, I simply get over how
"quiet" it is. I live in an upstairs condo so my downstairs neighbor will be as pleased as I am. This machine is an upgrade from my last GE machine
and already I know that with some of the new features and the fact that it is High Efficiency it will serve my needs very well. Thank you GE.

Great washer and not front loading

I learned to hate my former front loading washer - smelly washer, clothes not clean, no way to soak clothes, etc. I swore I would never buy another one and I didn't. When I needed a new washer I wanted a top loader! This one is great. I have had for 2 months now and washed tons of clothes in it. Everything from small delicates to new large queen size blankets. Everything has come out great. We have an open floor plan in our new house and the laundry room is right off the living area. This washer is quiet. Only one problem that I really didn't think about -- I am short and this washer is deep. Sometimes I really have to reach to get into the bottom of the washer tub. But I can live with that problem. Great washer!!

Takes some getting used to

I bought this washer a few weeks ago and it is supposed to let you choose your own load size vs using the auto-sense mode, which is what I do. It doesn't seem to go by my load size selected, even though I don't have the auto-sense mode selected. It is much quieter than my old washer and the washing tub is HUGE, which I really like also.

Poor wash quality

I am dissatisfied with the quality of the cleaning of the clothing. I would prefer longer wash cycles to accomplish better cleaning.
