I recieved my washer today could not believe how it spinned out the water in the clothes. it has avery nice tub and deep just the way I like. Can wash larger loads. Also like the features.

Very Surprising

I bought this machine one month ago. I am so happy I did. It takes changing the way you used to do laundry to get great results. Tie up all hoodie strings, button and zip up jeans and sort items accordingly. The low water wash has proven all my doubts wrong! It does clean everything beautifully. Just finished a queen sized comforter on Super water level and Whites wash and the machine didn't even flinch! I do hope to see great energy savings compared to my old water hog that I had before. Even the shower rinse had me skeptical, but the clothes are perfect when I take them out. We even have extreme skin sensitivities in our home and the shower rinse has not left any annoying residue.

this wash machine is a lot quieter than my other one and my clothes smell great my clothes smell lot cleaner and feel cleaner

The motor broke and had to be replaced just after one year. Now the water valve has to be replaced at a year and a half.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

looked at reviews on internet. this one had the most room for the price.
Washes good, tested on some soiled clothes, leaves clothes very dry.
seems to use very little water. Tried various settings but settled on automatic water level and it works well. Good delivery, setup and taking away old washer through sears.

Clean clothes every time

I bought this machine about 3 months ago. Checked the reviews on it and for the most part, all of the reviews were positive so we purchased the machine. I love this machine! Some of the reviews talked about the water level being too low to get the clothes clean. I think the water level adjusts itself for the capacity that I put in. Seems perfect. Machine does a great job of wringing out the clothes too. I love my new machine.

Sooo Happy with New Washer!

My 28 year old washer was dying and I just hated the thought of buying a new machine. I listened to my BFF's complaints about her brand new washer and began to look into other manufacturers. I studied the machines on line and went twice to see this machine before purchasing it. I am delighted with my GE! There is nothing I dislike! I looked for these features: a top that DOES NOT lock, the ability to SOAK, a very gentle cycle, a water level I can adjust, a fast/short cycle, and a powerful spin cycle (leaves the clothes almost dry!). Added plus: American made! Thank you GE...
