clothes come out really wrinkly.and not that dry have to iron them or stick in dryer plus dryer time has increased

I love my new washer! It has just enough options for me to do different sizes, and wash different fabrics, with easy to use instructions. The quality and the price is amazing!

As the washer is filling and agitating, it makes some interesting LOUD clanging, banging noises. Other than that it is extremely quiet. I keep meaning to call GE and ask if this is normal.

No More Laundromat!

I purchased this particular machine because of the hand wash and delicate cycles. I am pleased with the machine, but I prefer the simplicity of my old machine.

I was not even planning on looking at a GE washer- but I was so impressed when I looked at it- I bought it...it is so quiet, and saves energy !....so far, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Our GE Hydrowave washer and electric dryer are gorgeous matched machines. After 11 years of reliable service, we upgraded to this set. The washer’s large, stainless steel tub, larger capacity, and quality are the reasons for our selection. The two matched machines sitting side by side have a striking appearance.

Our glee soon faded as the new washing machine did not clean our clothes. We experimented with all brands and types of laundry detergents, different wash cycles, different load amounts and even added water to the tub after the wash cycle completed filling. After a year of trial and error, we have come to the conclusion this washing is not capable of cleaning our clothes.
The “final straw” is this washing machine’s inability to remove urushiol (poison ivy) from clothes and towels. Continued exposure from washed clothes and towels caused poison ivy skin irritation to spread and reoccur.
We would not hesitate to have our old washing machine returned. Unfortunately this is not possible. The electric dryer operates perfectly. It is truly disappointing to be so happy upon arrival of our new washer and dryer and have it become a frustrating situation that must be remedied.
We will replace the washing machine once a proper path can be determined. We do not want to “unload” this problem on someone else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
