I’m still waiting

We bought this fridge in 2015 and it is the worst one we have ever bought. I have no plans on buying another LG product.
Where do I start.....?
Our first condenser was replaced within the 1st couple of years. Fortunately it was still under warranty but I did pay $375 for the diagnosis and labor. Ok fine...now I am currently waiting for service for what I believe the same problem....around 2 years again. The customer service has been horrendous. They promise you a call back to notify you of when a technician is available. That has not happened yet and it has been several days.
Meanwhile my fridge is still not working. I have had to call them only to find out that a technician was supposed to be here today. NO ONE ever called me!
Do not buy this product from LG. Although the customer service reps try to be of help and do their best, this is a much bigger problem. It’s a poorly made fridge, with cheap parts that don’t last, not enough LG technicians to service these horrible products. I suspect this is across the board with this company.
Oh and I didn’t even mention the problems with the ice maker.
So here I wait......

Great Refrigerator!

We've had this refrigerator now for almost 2 months replacing a 19 year old fridge. We love LG products and recently purchased new LG front loader washer and dryer, too. Their products rock! This model is very stylish. The LED lighting is great and the compressor is very quiet; not sure why some people gripe about those. Love the water/ice door dispenser and the dual ice makers. Very spacious interior with a large freezer section. We have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend this refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in February 2016, at 6 months the ice maker required replacement. At 16 months (outside of full warranty) the Compressor required replacement. Two major repairs inside of 18 months of ownership. Poor Quality.

The ice maker does work well & gets frozen together and it leaks out of the bottom of the fridge because of ice that builds up from somewhere ! It freezes the food sometimes that are in the bins . I have tried turning the humidity down ,but that doesn't even help !

Worst Refrigerator EVER!!

Very disappointing LG. We've had nothing but issues with this from day one. Poor quality freezer handle that always falls off. We get ice that builds up at the base of the freezer that we have to chip away each week. Then the ice constantly leaks onto our floor so we keep a towel at the base of it to soak it up. Customer service refuses to stand behind their product. I've written letters, spent countless time on the phone with them. LEMON! Would never recommend or buy again!

Ice Maker jams

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we like the fridge itself but we have had problems with the ice maker chute from day one. If you choose crushed ice, within a couple of hours the chute will jam up and nothing will come out. You have to remove the ice tray to unclog the ice.

two icemakers when both are working
