Bad lint trap

Would not buy this model again, poor design on the lint trap and setting are not accurate.

Lint screen way too small

I have owned a number of GE appliances, but feel this unit does not live up to my expectations. The lint screen is very small. When the door is opened, lint falls either on the floor or back on the dried clothing....Really wish I could return it.

I bought my dryer and on the first load the drum is rubbing. It makes a sound like metal cutting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flimsy filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only complaint is that the lint filter is very flimsy and does not do a good job of keeping the lint in the filter. I always have to clean lint out from under the trap. Otherwise I am very happy with the machine and its preformance.

Went Back to GE!

I purchased this GE Dryer after dealing with another brand for several years. I like the way the dryer works and how quickly it dries a load.
The dryer signal is harsh and can not be reduced to a low sound without completely turning the sound off.
The lint filter is flimsy and lets a lot of lint through. It is also hard to clean / empty. This was the most disappointing part of this dryer.
