Dries well. Lint trap loses lint onto the floor as it comes out to clean and clings to the door bottom flying around loose. Easy to get clothes done without wrinkling

We bought this Fall, not sure of the date, as our other dryer died after 18 years!! (Was told this one would never make it to that milestone)

Dryer was great except for the lint trap.

I had to return this dryer (along with the matching washer that also had issues) because the lint trap is not sealed. Seems like a small complaint but what happens is the lint gathers on the inside of the dryer door and the surrounding rubber seal so when you try to take your clothes out of the dryer they get lint all over them! It really defeats the purpose of a lint trap. Was told that GE is aware of the issue but have not come up with a fix or work-around for it. Other than that, the dryer worked really well and I was happy with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer but broke already

This dryer was installed in my brand new home as part of the home package. I love how well it dries my clothes, when it's working. Within 2 weeks of using it, it stopped working. I had to wait 2 weeks for the fuse & heating element to come in that this dryer is installed with. I do like the dryer but my decision may change if this ends up being a usual situation.
