A good machine at a good price

This model has just enough features, without silly bells & whistles. The only problem is that the door latch is a little stiff, so you really have to slam the door shut. When you do that the whole machine moves backward a little, which can constrict the exhaust vent. Be careful that this doesn't happen, or else put something behind the machine so it can't move backwards.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Interesting product but flawed?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dryer is a yr old and by and large appears to be performing well in terms of drying. I agree with most of the comments I've ready and was mainly surprised that no one appears to have experienced our recurrent problem.
We started noticing stains on clothes months after we bought it but couldn't figure out why until my wife pointed out the stains inside the drum. GE replaced the drum but more stains after just a few weeks. We're told there is a liquid in the ring which leaks. They have again replaced the drum and ring but some stains are already starting to appear again. Should there be a recall?

Excellent Drying Time
