I bought this same model 10 years ago. The timer on it has just now started giving me a problem. Rather spend lotsa money on an older machine; I opted to purchase a new one for not much more than what I would pay in service charges and parts.

Fantastic Dryer

This dryer was just installed today and already I wonder why we didn't replace our 15 year old one sooner. It dries faster and gives a better non-wrinkle finish to our clothes. Plus, it is very quiet!

The controls are not allot of extras

We had a GE dryer for many years and got good service from it. We looked first at anther one, but reviewing many brands the GE looked the best. The light inside is sure a plus. With out a lot of electronic stuff to go wrong, it does what a drier is to dry cloths.

Terrible knobs

Bought this 3 years ago, after about a year and a half one of the knobs broke. We replaced it with one of the others, but now all 4 have broken. This is a decent dryer, but knobs should not break on a dryer, at least not after such a short amount of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
