purchased 9 months ago; not pleased; structure tinny which means it moves easily and it is noisy; also the handle is difficult to use; hard to open

Good Dryer

I bought this dryer (along with the matching washer) in October, 2014. The dryer works well and dries fast. I do feel that overall the dryer is a bit flimsy - in other words it doesn't feel as "solid" as my old dryer that lasted 15 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE not up to expectations

We bought a new home with GE appliances and we have had nothing but trouble with the dryer and tankless water heater. It took them three times to fix the loud banging coming from the brand new dryer (yes it was balanced properly). At least there was a one year warranty for the dryer including the service call.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
