We purchased this dryer recently and it was delivered and installed the next day. It matches our new washer. We've had GE products throught the years and have found them to be extremely reliable as well as easy to use and care for.

GE makes drying clothes easy.

This drier has sensor drying,it lets colthes dry without overdrying them.Setting are super easy to figure out and use.So quiet you can't hardly hear it running.The door also switches sides so making it easier to put clothes in.We have only had it a week bit it works great for us.

I have had GE washers and dryers for many years. I have not had any problems. This dryer has some great drying features that I use. I like its versatility.

Dries clothes well but very poor lint trap design.

GE replaced this dryer after it caught on fire after less than 2 years. The motor burnt out but it may have been due to a poor lint trap design. Lint may have gotten to the bottom of the machine near the motor. Good product but make sure you clean out the lint under the lint trap as often as you can too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Lot To Like

So far so good. Drying cycles are more than adequate and I am quite satisfied with the appliance at this point. On the downside, the lint catcher is too small -- I had to empty it twice during one drying cycle and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!
