[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer is ver efficient and seems to dry the loads quicker than my older model - which is the same version of my new one. I would definitely buy this product again.

QUIET OPERATION..CONTROLS ALLOW CUSTOM DRYING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is a gem. The controls allow many options for selected drying. The end-of-load buzzer is loud with a full decibel range adjustment.
This replaced an electric Maytag dryer. I purchased this dryer with the matching GE WASHER MODEL #GTWN4250M1WS.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Product will not work, less than a year after buying

Unfortunately, I replaced my old dryer with a GE because the price was cheapest. In less than a years time, the drying cycles knob broke off completely. It has taken the service department more than a week to even visit my house for the warranty repair. With a family of five, I feel stuck with a cheaply built and useless product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got this and so far I am happy with my purchase. Looking for something that was energy efficient So hopefully this will fit the bill! We had another GE dryer that lasted approximately 24 plus years so we got another.

Dried 2 loads and the heating element went out. Waiting for a replacement unit. Taking 2 weeks for service tech to come and fix.

Motor burned up after 3-Months, 3-weeks for A&E

I bought this dryer at the end on November 2013, on February the fourth it stopped working. A&E came out for warranty work and found that the motor needed to be replaced and ordered the part (to be shipped to my house). They shipped the part to someone else. I've repeatedly contacted them over the past three weeks and on 2 occasions was told the part would be reordered. It wasn't. I finally talked to an American last friday and they said the part would be reordered. The tracking number isn't a valid tracking number. Three weeks, no dryer. 20 years of buying GE appliances just ended.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
