Dryer is destroying my clothing and towels by generating "pullies." Most likely from poor finishing in the interior spaces.

Not for the busy household

We bought this about a year and a half ago and the timer mechanism has already needed to be replaced. I live the dryer itself but frustrated that I have to replace a part already

Used this for 4 months and the dials have broken TWICE. No the dryer isn't starting unless the dial is kept pushed down and in a certain spot. Very cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best dryer I've ever had

I bought this several months ago right before the birth of my son. I have a family of 5 so this dryer takes care of all of our clothes and super quiet so that my baby doesn't wake up whether I'm doing laundry during the day or night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked fine for 2.5 years

No issues for the first two and one half years then the selector knob went bad and it quite working.

Motor went out

I really liked this dryer.. But after 3 years suddenly the blower motor went out and I cannot fix it myself. The parts are expensive and apparently the dryer is not intended to last long, so I can't justify putting more money in it. The repair man said to buy a new dryer, he is not a fan of GE Products.
