Good features

In place of light inside dryer drum I would prefer a larger and stronger lint filter. I do not think the lint filter catches all the lint as some pops out when I open the door. Also, there are pieces of lint under the filter screen which are hard to remove with my hands or cloth. Other than those items the dryer seems to work just fine. An additional warranty should not be needed as my two previous dryers never needed to be fixed. I had my first one for about 24 years and the second one for about 19 years. When I needed a new washing machine I just purchased a matching dryer. I am hoping this GE brand will not need any repairs just like the previous ones.

lots more lint than last dryer. 2 little lint trap fasteners broke two months in. other than that, good dryer.

We had to replace the drum because it was rubbing against the frame. Drum was out of round!!!

The dryer is fast and efficient. However, the buzzer sound at the end of the cycle is quite irritating, as is the number of times it alarms.
