2 new washers in 5 months or less and I still don't have one that works. Very disappointed in product and service trying to get it repaired or replaced still trying to get problem fixed but no luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have it about 6 months. It is does take pretty long to dry and sometimes the clothes are still damp. I have tried different cycles. It has a nice size tub. The lint filter is easy to close.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is by far the best dryer we have ever owned in the past 50 years. I absolutely love its quick drying time and amazing ability to dry wrinkle free! When I forget and leave my clothes in the dryer, it has a dewrinkle feature that works perfectly. I highly recommend this dryer to everyone and would not hesitate to buy the exact same model again. You definitely will be extremely happy with your purchase!

Just got this dryer today so I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself, but so far this DRYER WORKS GREAT! Our "old" (4 years) maytag quite working ... I'm glad because it took forever to dry a load of whatever. Yes we had it checked ... tech said that's the way new dryers work ... ? Anyway, the new GE dries in one setting, not two or three times. No too many bells & whistles but that's OK, I just want dry clothes in one setting :-)

I have been using my new GE drier for about 6 weeks, and I like it. It dries the clothes fast. I have not compared my electric bill yet but I will. Before, I had to wait for my old drier to finish cycle before I start another load in the washer; but now I have to wait for washer to be done because this drier is fast!!! This is a drier I recommend for families that are budget conscious; fancy and expensive is not necessarily better. Save the difference on pricier models and use it on your next vacation.
