Needed new washer & dryer. Looked at several and liked the size, readiness of use, and the price we could afford. Has done a good job of drying clothes so far.

Unit came as part of a builders package. Took extensive time to dry clothes, noisy, and door was difficult to close. Sold the unit after 3 months and bought another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 15 hours of use, the timer failed. After waiting two days for repair person,( a non GE repair person) now have to wait four days for part.

Good drying ability but there is a scraping noise that is so loud...can't figure out what it is. Very obnoxious.
