An okay Dryer

It seems to perform adequately except that there is an excess amount of lint that builds up in the external vent pipe.

when drying cycle is done and you open the door, lint flies out and also collects on the bottom of the door and outside of the lint filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this dryer about a month ago and it has been nothing but fantastic. I vast improvement from the GE dryer I was using from the 1980's. These things last forever!

In 1998 I purchased a GE dryer (gas) that is just like this one. It is still running strong! Since I recently moved to a house that has no gas connection, I purchased the new electric model. I hope it will last and last like my other one has.

New Dryer

I've had this dryer now for over 2 mos., so far, it has been a great dryer. I was very excited first of all for getting a much needed new dryer. After reviewing several dryers, this dryer impressed me most. The drying cycle settings for different types of clothing are a bonus but I especially love the drying sensor that's energy efficiency at it's best. The clothes come out fresh and smooth and not over dried. Also, the inside light is an added feature that I would never want to do without again in a dryer. I would highly recommend this dryer based on my experience thus far.

We looked at several dryers and thank goodness we bought this one. It is very roomy and dries our clothes in a short time. It saves us energy and time with every load.
