LOSER of a WASHING MACHINE!!!!!

My Samsung washer is less than 2 years old.
The drain pump broke and had to be replaced within 9 months.
The washer stopped draining again @ 14 months. I had to have another part replaced.
As of July 2014- the washer shakes violently and will not properly spin dry the clothes.
It is not under warranty now but Samsung is sending someone to look at it.
In the meantime I have to wait a whole week for the tech to come while I do my laundry for our family of 5 @ the Laundromat!! NOT COOL:(
The only redeeming feature to this model is the tune it plays @ the end of the wash cycle!!!

We bought this machine in January 2014. It does not clean our clothes!! I have to wash and rewash our clothes 2 & 3 times!! Worst washer I have ever owned!! I will never recommend it
to anyone!

I'm very sorry to hear you're having issues with your WA400 Washer. There are several factors that can affect the ability of the washer to clean properly. Please be sure to use only the recommended amount of HE detergent and select the cycle, temperature and soil level that are appropriate for the items you're washing. Incoming water pressure and temperature can also be factors.

Expensive and disappointing

This washer does not clean laundry, it does get them wet and then spins much of that water back out but your laundry is still full of lint, hair and dirt. We have tried all of the settings even different
detergent, same results. Spent good money on a poor machine. Won't happen again.

This machine DOES NOT clean clothes properly. We bought this product along with the dryer last year November and I've tried all the settings but it isn't doing what it's supposed to do. We also bought this because I recently gave birth and knew we wouldn't have time to go to the laundry matt. His clothes still have food particles on them after washing. What's the point in having to wash clothes 2 more times in order to get them clean? Even our clothes don't get cleaned. I have always used pre-treaters and bleach when I would do laundry at the laundry matt and our clothes came out clean. I am doing the same thing at home and stains are still there. Do not buy this washing machine, you'd be wasting your money.

Bought this washer and within 13 months of easy use it has broken twice!! The cheaply made water drain has broken completely off and left our second floor flooded in a matter of minutes. Not a leak a complete downpour of water ruining our ceilings below.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, breaks repeatedly

Does not clean very well and is now broken

The washers does not clean clothes very well. Although it does complete the cycles and sings a song when complete the results are less than spectacular. On top of that now it is broken. The washer was in the middle of its cycle and made a very loud noise and dumped all the water out of the unit into the catch pan. I have been trying to get a service tech to trouble shoot the issue a couple of days now with no luck. Between the fridge, dryer and now this issue I will be at 8+ service calls in only 1.5 years. Spend your money on something else.

Good for 6 months and then.....

We bought a washer and dryer together on the same day and had them both for about 4-6 months then one day the dryer caught on fire! My whole house smelled like smoke, had to call the fire department because it was smoking so bad and as soon as they took it outside it burst into flames! 3 days after that the washer leaked about 12 inches of water all over my floor and then just stopped working all together. Samsung was great about the whole thing though, they came and got them both and I got a new set within a week! Just crazy how both of them stoped working within days of each other.

Flooded room..broken water pump,

Just over a year of minimal use the laundry room filled up with water. After a long clean up i was able to look under the washer to see the water pump hanging. the plastic housing broke off, disconnecting the pump....flooding the room. Just out of warranty and after reading the problems it sounds like a total lemon. what a piece of junk.
