Standing up to 2+ years of abuse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this headset in March, 2015. I wear it to my warehouse job daily. It is dusty, very hot in the summer, and super cold in the winter. This thing just keeps going strong. The battery life hasn't even diminished much, after so much use. It gets me through an entire 8-9 hour workday, and still has juice left (streaming audio continuously, medium volume). I must have lucked out, as I haven't had any of the mic or call issues some others have mentioned. I plan on using these through the rest of 2017, and I might upgrade to a newer model early next year. But overall, outstanding quality and value.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still going strong since before Jan 2014

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this purple headset in 2013. I loved its rare color and it's simple design and features. What I didn't expect is the durability. So a year ago I bought a second one figuring at some point I would need to replace it. It's battery charging is still goin gstrong. The only thing I'm missing is a single clip for the ear bud to keep it from snagging on things. This design is so flawless I gave my "spare" to a friend becasue after 3 years going this strong, I dont' see myself replacing it unless there is one with better features that comes out until this one DIES...

Loses Mic Mid-Call!!
on December 29, 2014

After reading some of the reviews, it looks like it's not that I have a bad set, seems to be an issue.
The headset will lose the mic during calls which leaves me juggling with my phone so that I do not lose my call. It's very inconvenient especially when I'm on a work related call!
LG really needs to look into this issue and perhaps do a recall. If it wasn't for this it would be a fantastic headset!
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microphone issue is a killer
on June 30, 2014

I too have the microphone cut-off problem. Mine is used with an iPhone 5S. After several minutes on a call, I can hear perfectly, but suddenly no-one can hear me speak. I have to switch to the phone, then back to the headset. In the meantime, other callers have assumed I've dropped from the call. Not acceptable for business use.
I've read other posts on the Net saying that turning off wifi on the phone helps. I've not tried this, nor is this an acceptable long term solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mic drops during calls
on October 8, 2014
Posted by: Jon
from Lakeland, FL
While on phone calls the microphone will randomly and suddenly drops out. I can hear the person on the other end but they can no longer hear me. I have searched for reasons and solutions but have found that many others have the same problem. It appears to be in connection with a major phone manufacture but the review rules will not allow me to help you out by telling you.
The sound is great but if it is not stable to use during phones then I cannot recommend this product.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality

LOVE(D) it!

I loved it. Told many people about it and would have purchased another one BUT as oh so many have mentioned, there is a mic problem. Intermittently the mic will just cut off in the middle of a call. I can hear but no one can hear me. LG has been unresponsive in this as this issue has been reported by users for a seriously long time (6 months that I know of) and they've done nothing about it. Honestly, I constantly recommended this product because it was one of my best purchases until this mic issue. Not happy.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

For music - great! For phone calls - not so much.

Like some of the other reviewers, I was hoping to love these headsets. I had the Tone 730 headset for a couple of years, but had worn them out and wanted to upgrade.
On the 750's the music is crisp and has good dynamic range, just like the 730's.
However, on longer phone calls my voice will get dropped even though I can hear the caller on the other end. Either turning the Bluetooth on the call screen off and back on or turning the actual headset off and on will reconnect my voice/mic. On calls that are of shorter duration I have no issues.
I have the same problem whether connecting to a Galaxy S5 or a Galaxy Note 3.
I have returned these headsets and purchased the Tone Ultra 800. I have only had two phone calls so far, one under 2 minutes and one over 2 minutes. Sadly, my voice was dropped on the longer call. I will continue to research the issue since the Ultra's sound amazing for music.
One thing to note, with the 750's. It seemed like the longer calls that would drop my side of the conversation were ones where I was quite and just listening in for a couple of minutes - almost like my mic would go to 'sleep' during the lull.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
