Not as good as the previous generation HBS730

I've used the HBS700, 730 and now the 750.
I prefer the 730. The buttons on the 750 are more difficult to discern by feel so it is more challenging to control without looking.
The multiconnect has a fairly annoying bug. The bug happens in the following situation:
I connect to my PC for audio and headset and also my cell phone. If I leave my home and then drive to work, it stays connected to by cell phone but every 30 seconds or so the voice comes on an says "Device out of range trying to connect". It eventually goes away after 10 minutes. The worst of it is that it interrupts my phone calls and music to tell me this.
Under multiconnect, it shouldn't play the message as long as one device is connected. Better yet would be an option to press a button to not hear the message again. She could say "to not hear this message again, press the call button now".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its comfortable

I read other reviews saying the Tone Pro HBS-750 is not loud enough and I was concerned since I was having volume trouble too. But I found out I wasn't pushing the volume button enough. Out of the box the phone call volume is louder than the media volume so you are disappointed and think there is something wrong. Try holding both volume buttons together for a second to turn on the "EQ" then tap the volume up A LOT and eventually it gets louder, fifty taps later. Somewhere in all that tapping are some EQ adjustments and the sound I have now does not sound very balanced. I need a more through tutorial on how to adjust this because having so many multi functions on the volume buttons has me confused. It needs to give me a spoken signal like "EQ high, EQ low". I will figure it out soon.
I like everything else about the Tone Pro.
My call recipients hear me well.
And its very comfortable to wear and I don't look like call center monkey.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed
on September 3, 2014

The first week using it was excellent. Worked great, and loved going on a run without all the wires flying all over the place because of the ear buds I usually used. Then without any reason the connection started to fail. I now can't put my cell phone in my pocket without the sound beginning to cut out. I have to hold my phone about stomach height for the sound to keep constant. This has to be the best invention, but only if it keeps functioning while on the go. If it cuts out continuously, even though the paired component is right next to it, there is a serious problem. I've heard the 730 doesn't have this problem, the 750 is known to have it. I should have listened before buying.

Mic cuts out.

Same issue as another customer reported. During a conversation the other party starts "Hello, hello, are you there, did you hang up?" All the while the phone indicates we are still connected and the Bluetooth is still on. Next thing is the digital voice informing that the call has ended.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

HBS750 has big time issue with mic

So this works fine if you need a headset to just listen to songs, but is terrible while making call or talking when you receive a call. The caller at the other end cannot hear you.
I tried all options, but nothing works and there is no option available to increase the mic volume.
if they say this problem is specific to a device, don't believe it.

Mic cuts out frequently
on November 5, 2014

In the middle of a call, the mic cuts out and the other party can no longer hear me. Read one option is to turn off the headset connection on the phone and restart and it starts working again. Usually too late. Have had many people hang up on me thinking I had done that to them.
If they get this bug fixed I would recommend, but until then it is not worth the frustration.
Pros: fix the mic bug!

In the middle of a call, the mic cuts out and the other party can no longer hear me. I have to fish my phone out and switch to handset before the caller hangs up. Read a lot of other folks are having this same issue

Love the Idea
on June 12, 2014

My wife has owned the LG Tone + for some time and swears by them. I just purchased the LG Tone Pro and started having the same problem as most with the mic going out. This happens so often on a phone call it is annoying. I returned the first pair and same problem with the second pair. They look great and have a great idea, but this problem needs to be fixed. Sounds like they are avoiding the problem.
