great flexibility

I got these 6-12 months ago and have found them to be quite the functional stand I was looking for.
I may change out mu current speakers with a pair of Klipsch R-14M's, and these provide the flexibility to change the upper stand speaker plates to accommodate the Klipsch's!!
Too bad discontinued, these are a great value with REAL flexibility
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but.....

Generally a pretty good product - heavily built and well finished except for one glaring problem.There is a knife-like ridge around the inside of the holes where the speaker wire is supposed to enter and exit the tube in order to hide the wire from view. It's incredibly sharp and it cuts into the wire as you try to pull it through the tube. The damage to the wire has to be seen to be believed. Because of this, I couldn't take the chance that the wire might be cut badly enough to result in a shorted speaker so I was forced to run the wire outside. Very disappointing for an otherwise 4.5 star product.
Pros: Component Fit
Cons: can't use the wire concealment feature
