nice features but it doesn't work

had it 2 days and it isnt working. freezer at 50F degrees but the display shows 0F
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi tallpall,
The "OF" on the display indicates the refrigerator is in "Cooling Off" or "Demo" mode. This mode provides power to the lights, but prevents the cooling system from turning on to help save energy when on display at retail. You can deactivate this mode and turn the cooling system on by pressing the Power Freeze and Freezer buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds. The display should change to the numeric reading and begin to cool after a few minutes. This information can also be found on page 12 of the User Manual.

Overall this product has great features.
Interior water is great , no more mess on the outside. Ice maker is great. The overall design of the product is excellent.
Would recommend this appliance to everyone.

There is a lot of popping noises. Once an hour it is extremely loud, has waken us at night . They explained it is the plastic water tube expanding and contracting. They have ordered us some kind of insulation to put around the tube to try to quiet the noise. But back ordered due to high demand.
Also the ice maker does not produce enough. It only has 8 cubes per tray and it only dumps every one to three hours. It takes 3 days to fill the ice bin.
The only pro is the duel cooling system. It keeps great produce. Lettuce lasts 2 weeks in mine.

THIS REFRIGERATOR IS EVERYTHING I WAS LOOKING AND HOPING FOR. THE BOTTOM FREEZER IS WHAT I NEEDED AS I HAVE BACK PROBLEMS AND NOW I CAN SEE EVERYTHING IN THE REFRIGERATOR WITHOUT BENDING DOWN. AS I USE THE FREEZER MUCH LESS THAN THE REFRIGERATOR THIS IS MUCH EASIER ON MY BACK. THE EXTRAS BUILT INTO THE UNIT LIKE THE POWER FREEZE AND POWER COOL ARE VERY HANDY. THE L E D LIGHTING IS ANOTHER THING I LOVE. I COULD GO ON AND ON, BUT TO PUT IT PLAINLY I LOVE THIS REFRIGERATOR . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Our daughter recently purchased this exact model for her new home. We were so impressed, we had to get one too. The French Door style is very suitable for our needs; providing eye level access to our frequently used items. The LED lighting is very functional and stylish. On-the-door shelves offer convenient placement of both large and small items. The ice maker is quick and efficient. Thanks to the Samsung team for an outstanding product!
