25.5 FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR

WE'VE HAD OUR REFRIGERATOR FOR THREE MONTHS AND LOVE THE ILLUMINATION INSIDE. THE SECOND SHELF HAS A FRONT SECTION THAT LIFTS FOR STORAGE OF TALL BOTTLES ON THE THIRD SHELF (SUCH AS WINE). THERE IS AN ABUNDANT AMOUNT OF STORAGE SPACE IN THE REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER COMPARTMENT.
THE ONLY DOWNER IS THE ICE MAKER IS EXTREMELY LOUD WHEN DISCHARGING ICE - SORT OF LIKE A GUN GOING OFF WHICH CAN BE A LITTLE DISCONCERTING AT THREE IN THE MORNING.

Truly terrific refrigerator

I have had this item short time, but it seems to be of high quality design. What most particularly impressed me pre-purchase was the the cold water dispenser and ice cube maker took up almost no room. Unlike other designs which are blocky, space consuming and in general, not ergonomic.
Temperatures are quite even. Items in the back don't freeze, and those in the front are cold. Shelving is designed to fit real world requirements, not just give the appearance of storage space. The freezer in particular provides easy multilevel access to find the desired object very quickly.
The controls are more than adequate, easy to use, and seem appropriately sensitive.
I was concerned about the stainless steel appearing door, as they often catch fingerprints and smudges. Except for the worst accidents, smudges are invisible.
The add on vegetable and special drawers do their job very well.
Lighting is superior, making it easy to find items in the back of the refrigerator.
This is a well designed appliance that is far superior to anything I have seen near its price range, and even many of those significantly more expensive.
Pros: extremely ergonomic, atrractive, does its job quite well

GORGEOUS and FUNCTIONAL!

We can't find anything wrong with this beautiful new refrigerator. We've had it for two months now and are completely thrilled with it. Not only is it gorgeous but everything inside is so well organized and so well-lit with all the l.e.d. lites. We really like the Cool Select Pantry; it even holds a large veggie or party platter. This time we chose to have the inside water dispenser, and we're glad we did. Keeps the fridge looking so nice and sleek on the outside w/o a dispenser there, just our opinion. The inside one is easy, and no drips (there's no drip tray-not necessary). They recommend running a gallon of water out of the dispenser after installation to eliminate air or bubbles, and it worked, cuz no drips or problems. Especially love the "Stainless Look" model--it doesn't show fingerprints as much, and looks awesome. I thought maybe a new fridge would be an adjustment to learn new buttons or something, but not so, very easy & keeps the food to perfection. Ours was pre-set to 0 degrees F for the bottom freezer, and 37 degrees F for the fridge, but you can adjust if you wish. We like the ice cubes in the bottom freezer too. All in all, we're so happy with this particular Samsung French Door Refrigerator Mo#RF261BEAESP. After doing our research and making a decision, no complaints here. This model also uses 50% less electricity compared to our old fridge.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, keeps food to perfection

Slow making Ice

This refrigerator is good looking and is well designed. It works as well as it looks. The only issue that we have is that it makes ice too slowly. Took over a week for the ice bin to fill. My guess is that the water fill to the ice maker is timed instead of a measure of water volume into the maker.

Cheap Shelves

Love my beautiful fridge and the great design and features. Until 1 month after the 12 month warranty and 3 of the door shelves have now cracked and are broken. There's just little tiny clear plastic tabs that are holding the whole shelf in place and they crack from normal wear and tear.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good value for price

This fridge was the best we could get at the price purchased. We didn't have any space constraints so a larger fridge works. We love the ice maker although a bit noisy. You can hear the ice cubes drop into the tray. It is nice to have all interior ice maker and water dispenser, no need to worry about kids playing with exterior components. The water dispenser is pretty strong. Fill your cup with water first then get ice otherwise the jet stream from the dispenser splashes all over the place. There is no drip pan for the water so heed the interior label by the water dispenser.
I had to install the spacers on the doors myself since the middle door hinge didn't close properly. If the middle door hinge on the french doors don't close the fridge leaks cool air into the room, tested it with a flashlight inside the fridge; you can see the light shine thru if the middle door hinge doesn't close.
We like the LED lighting. These are just few things to consider when you make your purchase.
Pros: Inexpensive, led lights, water filter location, enough space and interior accessories
Cons: no water dispenser drip pan, needed to make door height adjustment

I had my fridge for a few weeks now and love it. Plenty of room in upper part. Controls are easy to read and adjust.
The freezer is great also with plenty of storage space.

Like the size of the lower freezer

I've only had this refrigerator for two days now. In general, this is a good refrigerator. I like the storage in the upper refrigerator doors and the pull out, lower freezer drawers. I also like the digital control panel. The delivery time was very good.
But, what I miss is more vertical space on the refrigerator shelves (main part of the refrigerator). I would rather have more additional vertical spacing on the main shelves. in place of the "cool select pantry."
