Fridge broke down after 3 years.....

exactly 3 years and 2 months after purchasing this fridge, the cooling in the freezer and fridge started to fail. the soonest service quick could send a technician was about 5 days. at this point, i had to throw away most of my food. technician arrives and performs diagnostic, and determines a part needs to be replaced. service quick calls me 5 days later to arrange an appointment that was about a week later. 3 weeks later, with a completely broken fridge, the technician arrives and does some repairs. the fridge works for a week, then completely loses cooling again. i expect this to take another 3 weeks to repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very dissapointing

i have ice coming out of the back of the inside of the refrigerator, my ice maker doesn't work consistently. it either over flows the bin and half of that is crushed ice, or it doesn't work at all. when i hit the reset button i hear the ice maker move and then nothing. the fridge is only 4 years old. i have had problems with my samsung washer also. i'll never buy a samsung appliance again.

Poor Quality

ice maker stopped working within 3 years of working. sporadically made ice once every 6 months. ice tray fell off and dangles now. water collected underneath deli tray and froze so deli tray would not open. fridge needed to be taken apart and defrosted from inside back cover multiple times by repairman. water dispenser button stopped working after 4 years and was replaced 2 times. now water does not come out at all 7 years into purchase. easily dents as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this refrigerator seems to fluctuate both in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. i can never get consistant temperatures no matter if the fridge and freezer are full or half empty. my biggest pet peeve is cleaning bins and shelves...awful awful awful. i had something leak from the top shelf all the way down and the produce bins seem to have small holes in them which filled with the leaked material and i cannot clean. it looks beyond disgusting. the nooks and crannies that are inaccessible for cleaning are awful. never again would i buy a samsung refrigerator. all my other ones cleaned up nicely. very sad that these bins and shelves aren't sealed better.

dont bother with this! it’s complete trash! doors broke after 2 years and the “10” year worranry os comoleatly useles simce it only covers a very limited amount of things. i personally will never buy another samsung appliance again.

Do not buy a Samsung fridge!

I’ve had this fridge for less than 5 years and everything has broken! The fridge stopped cooling, we got that fixed, but now there’s water pooling at the bottom. And the freezer won’t get cold enough to keep anything frozen…tons have food gone to waste. Don’t buy this fridge!
