Do not buy

i love my fridge except for that fact that ice builds up behind the panel that is inside of the fridge. when this happens, it causes water to drip down under the slide out drawer. yoy have to remove everything from your fridge and manually defrost it and replace the food. i have called smasung numerous times and they say they can't do anything for me and they confirm this is a known issue with many customers. yet they don't recall it amd they do not offer to fix it. i've had someone come fix it and the resolution is only temporary. everything i own is a samsung, i love samsung. but do not buy their fridges.

Ice maker is horrible

the refrigerator has been fine but the ice maker is horrible. it seems to melt a bit of the ice and then freeze again under the bin. the whole unit then becomes frozen solid and stops working. we have had it repaired sever times and spent over $400 trying to get it fixed and it's broken again. stay away from this particular model.

Zero Star Rating. Worst Buy EVER!

we've had this 2 years. i was hoping to have it for many years and i can't wait to get rid of it!!! where do i begin? first the ice maker is the terrible. besides the fact that the ice comes out super slow, it freezes up every other day and doesn't produce ice. second, the water that comes out of the dispenser? is hard water and there's build up on the tray - ooh! and the paint is coming off of it. third? good luck cleaning the gook that gets caught on the glass shelves. fourth, better luck cleaning that open piece in the vegetable trays. fifth, every little mark shows on the exterior. sixth, the humidity control wording is already rubbing off and the interior is cracked! all within a couple of years. great buy - not!!!

Ice maker does not work properly

had the ice maker replaced under warranty and it still does not work properly. stops producing ice and must be defrosted before ice is produced again

Worst misstake ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] will never buy a samsung refrigerator again. 3 mths after purchasing it, it started freezing up. come to find out it’s common for this product. very dissappointed in this product esspecially for the price i paid for it.

Worst ice maker ever!

one of the features i liked about this refrigerator was the ice-making capacity. this ice maker jams up any time you try to get more than one cup of ice. i am so frustrated. i tried submitting a service call on line, but i kept getting the oops message. i will now be making a phone call for service.

Sad we chose this model

2 major issues. one is the drain line freezing up because the drain defroster piece of metal is inadequate. there are a lot of youtube videos about this.
other is the ice maker. 2 years after purchasing, it cost ~$700 to replace it. a year after that, it failed again. constant defrosting issues with the ice maker. even repair man mentioned that putting the ice maker in the refrigerated section will always cause problems.

Horrible Ice Maker

we bought this fridge a few years ago and have had nothing but problems with the ice make. it freezes over and it is constantly getting clogged. i always have to break the ice chunks off the top for it to start working again for a day if im lucky. if i would have read more of the review i never would have bought this model.
