Falling apart

purchased 3 years ago. the upper/door icemaker constantly freezes up. even after defrosting, will freeze right back up. this is a known issue with this model- something i only found out after experiencing myself. today the freezer handle snapped off when opening it up. this thing can not handle basic everyday use.

Don’t Buy a Fridge From Samsung

this fridge is crap. the ice maker will freeze and will not produce ice… have to defrost every two weeks. now the fridge is icing up by the coil (ice build up) and it causes the fan to hit the ice making a terrible noise. this started two years after purchase. called samsung and they won’t help… want me to call a repairman which will cost a fortune. nice design, bad mechanics.

Leaky Samsung Fridge RF263BEAE

we purchased a samsung fridge rf263beae in 2016 and fridge was okay for 2 years. apparently samsung fridges has a water leaking problem which we have dealt with there is even a class action lawsuit out on samsung on 22 of there models. i don’t understand why others and samsung would sell their fridges if they have this problem. also i know 4 people that own fridge and they all have same problem.

Awful fridge, will never buy samsung again

nothing but problems with this fridge. - poorly designed (hard to clean) - plastic shelves and door bins that crack and break (there are cracks all over the interior with normal use) and that are super expensive to replace - ice maker is unreliable and freezes up all of the time (we finally gave up) - if you open either door the water maker doesnt dispense on the left i could go on and on which is why i added this review.. samsung should stick to making tvs.

Huge, expensive mistake

ice maker kept freezing up as its not sealed well, compressor died 9 years after owning. warranty in us is only 5. was advised to buy a new fridge by an independent company.

this ice maker has slowly become the bane of my existence. fortunately, it appears to have finally rid the world of its existence, so while my water will always be lukewarm at least i never have to deal with this ice maker again.
there was another annoying persistent issue with the drain line freezing but i eventually fixed that thanks to google/youtube
do not buy this fridge 0/10 do not recommend

about 2 years into having the refrigerator our ice maker started freezing over. we would defrost using tips found on internet only to find this temporary solution work for a few weeks at a time. we even found they had published about new parts made to fix this problem permanently. we bought the part just for it work for a little while and then back to normal issues again. ice even built up behind the inner back wall panel of the refrigerator. we had to remove all the food to take it off and defrost. we see the ice building up again. we haven't used our ice maker in almost a year and i just tried removing the tray and now it's stuck. can't remove it and can't get back in all the way. this is ridiculous and an evident defect in this model.
