Poor Quality of the Finish

Bought this refrigerator in the Black Stainless finish. This finish scratches extremely easy and looks terrible since it shows the shiney stainless underneath. There is nothing that can be done about it. For the high price this appliance is at, this is a terrible value and will degrade the look of a new kitchen in a matter of days. All you have to do is brush against it as it's extremely fragile. We have no children in the house, just 2 adults and we care for our things. This is very disappointing considering we bought the matching gas range and dishwasher in the same finish and the dishwasher has a scratch too. I would not recommend any Samsung Black Stainless product. Garbage and a waste of hard earned money! Buyer beware!

I have had this refrigerator/freezer for over 18 months. A well built unit with great capacity and features. I find the the small chest type freezer on the bottom with french door fridge on top most convenient construction layout possible. I chose this unit after extensive comparison shopping and research, I am still very happy with my choice. The best choice for the price that I could find and I have not been disappointed in the least.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I made a big mistake buying this fridge.It leaks continuously and the ice maker jams up every other month. Do not buy this fridge.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Refrigerator, just 2 things...

This is a great refrigerator compared to our 12 year old past GE fridge. We love the sleek black stainless look. Just 2 things:
1. The touch sensor letters and numbers on the keypad illuminate when touched, but at night it can be difficult to see which touch sensor to press since the background doesn't illuminate. We kinda have to feel around until we've pressed the water vs. ice touch sensor, since it's one flat surface or turn a our kitchen light on at night. It would be nice to see a background illumination.
2. The ice maker is kind of loud. It's a total contrast to our new Samsung dishwasher where we have to open the door to be sure it's on.
Pros: black stainless and calming blue lights
Cons: no background illumination on touch sensors

I bought this refrigerator on the recomendation of a family member. The one I replaced had to be repaired almost every other year. I have only had this refrigerator for a month but love it more everyday, the ajustable shelves are great! they just fold out of the way when need to space for taller things, the LED lighting is bright and lights up the space really well. The controls on the door are very easy to understand and use. I love the fact that the freezer and refrigerator compartments have seperate cooling units.
Pros: design, quiet
Cons: have'nt found any

Quit working after 4 months

I bought my Samsung 4 months of use the refrigerator quit working. No cooling, no lights inside or out (on the door). A qualified technician told us that it was either the main power board or the sub power inverter board. We are now in day nine without a refrigerator. Not happy with the refrigerator.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could Not Be Happier with my Samsung 25 cu.ft. French Door

Every day I thank myself for making the change from our side-by-side. The versatility of the shelving inside is awesome. Even after all these weeks I discovered a new feature---the upper left shelf LIFTS all the way up and out of the way making room for another tall pitcher. Couldn't do that with any of my other refrigerators. I also keep a couple of thermometers in the top sections (as well as one in the bottom freezer), which give me peace of mind that this model is really doing what it claims to do! I never had a bottom freezer before, and the extra sliding drawer gives us a lot of versatility. Back up top, I can see everything so much better, with even more on-the-door storage on the left-hand door! Wish I made this decision sooner because I have been keeping house for 49 years and could have enjoyed this convenience a long time ago. Once in awhile I have even seen my husband standing in front of it just staring. He says he like this model better, too.
Pros: Bright display, beautiful design, versatile

Not too complicated to use

This product has an attractive look/design. Features are just simple enough for anyone. You don't have to be a tech-genius. Easy to setup and operate. The French doors make a difference when putting oversized items inside. The freezer-drawer is also convenient for storing big items.
I think it's a good product for a moderate sized family.
