Love the Cool Select Pantry drawer

Just replaced our side by side that was going out. Intrigued by the features and look of the French Door refrigerators. Unsure because of the bottom freezer for storage. I love the versatility of the Cool Select Pantry drawer. I find it's perfect to store lunch meat, cheeses and I threw in the butter too! There is plenty of room in the Vegetable and Fruit drawers. The shelves are also handy for large serving platters and trays when your having a party. The ice maker does take away room from the shelf so the door shelf is small and awkward. I think the fold up shelf would be better on the right side. Compared to my side by side, I did find that storage is more difficult in the freezer because you have to layer everything in. You have no sight of what's in there. I purchased a stacking bin and am looking for stacking trays because I like to keep my frozen vegetables together, my meats (beef, fish and chicken seperated ) together plus I usually have containers of sauces, soups etc. I would have given a 5 star rating if stacking trays were included for that task. The refrigerator is quiet. It seems to run a little colder than the temperature display says. There is no grill cover on the bottom which has a 3 1/4 inch gap so you can see the wheels. This is my first Samsung purchase so I'm hoping my refrigerator will give me many years of service. I'm particular, I am a Virgo. I think manufactures could do better considering the price consumers pay for their products.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: no shelves in freezer.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! While Samsung doesn't currently have stacking trays available for the freezer, you may find other useful accessories at SamsungParts.com. For example, you may be interested in ordering an additional divider for the main freezer bin (part #DA61-04796A), ice storage bin for the upper drawer (#DA61-05358A), or egg tray (# DA63-02492A).
Also, while the flip-up shelf attached to the ice maker in the refrigerator can't be moved, the other shelves can be installed in either the right or left side based on your preferences.

Great Refrigerator

I have had my Samsung refrigerator for about a year now and I love it! It has great storage space , really nice LED lighting , and keeps my food and drinks really cold!
Pros: roomy, attractive finish, easy to clean, quiet

this is at best an average refrig

in less than 2 months, the fan had to be replaced, the ice maker doesn't working properly, etc
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missing feature

I like the overall model but wish there was a direct open ice bin in freezer to reach in for cubes. Also when I want cubes from outer door I get first water, then chips before full cubes. In addition , the stainless steel finish isn't stainless and needs constant attention. Thank you for asking, and if there's anything I should be doing please let me know.
