We bought this along with the Samsung Oven, Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer. Simple way to update the house with a modern look, efficient appliances and features included that make household chores fun & easy!

Ice Maker Sucks

My fridge is only 3 years old and we have had problems with the ice maker for the past year and a half! Always after the warranty is up. It constantly drips water, always forming blocks then it produces no ice!! easy mold buildup inside wear it cranks out ice because it drips!!
Cons: Did not meet expectations, ice maker poor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

French door refrigerator

Bought this refrigerator at the beginning of the month. Our not so old (7years) Died.
My wife picked Samsung because of the consumer ratings. Refrigerator has all of the features that she was looking for. Size and appearance was also important . The size and inside layout makes for a well organized refrigerator . A factor that is important to me. I cook, sometimes frantically , and being able to see and reach an ingredient quickly is necessary. The freezer layout is great and much larger than the previous refrigerator . I look at this appliance as a tool, and great tools make for a better kitchen.

Love this fridge, the control panel took a bit to understand, but once learned it was easy to use.

Very nice refrigerator

We have been using the refrigerator for about 6 months now. I'm very impressed with the amount of food it holds. I like the layout and the shelves are nice and sturdy. I gave 4 stars for performance because the ice comes out slower than other brands I have owned. I also gave 4 stars for design due to the stainless skin not being smudgeless. I am kicking myself for not getting the Black Stainless, which is smudgeless. Again, other brands have the smudgeless steel with comparable models so I hope Samsung gets the message and will make that improvement. The stainless is also very soft in that it got 2 small dents in the freezer door within the 1st week of use. Our children are grown and out of the house so I believe the dents may have come from a carpenter we had doing work in our home. My final critique is the display words should be in a more contrasting color. A bit difficult to read with 50 year old eyes! As my review title states, this IS a very nice refrigerator, just a couple of design changes and I would rate it 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The icemaker freezes up continually. I have been battling this problem since I purchased it.

Great Refrigerator

I just set up this refrigerator, so I can't say how it will do long term yet, but it is working great so far. Cooling down quick for the first time from 80F day. Love having the water and ice dispenser and they are simple to select the desired dispenser. The controls are simple to use and very clear. I like the configurability inside with the shelves. The unit is also quiet so far, although I'm not making ice yet. And the last part that really sold me on the refrigerator over other models is the top tray of the freezer pulls out with the freezer drawer. There is a little lip for the drawer to catch on, most items I need quickly are right there without having to reach in under and pull the top draw out. This sold me on the frig.
Pros: Inexpensive, quiet, looks good
I would recommend this to a friend!
